Lanceria to Launch Commission-Free Crypto-Powered Platform for Freelancers
  • Lanceria claims it will launch its crypto-powered freelance.
  • Lanceria claims to change the gig economy paradigm.

As the freelance industry is booming, many employers have difficulty finding skilled professionals. This is somewhat time-consuming and frustrating at the same time.

As a result, Lanceria claims it will launch its crypto-powered platform for freelancers after raising $1 Million in a private token sale. Lanceria is a gig-economy marketplace featuring AI functionality.

According to the firm, its crypto-friendly platform offers freelancers and their employers near-instant payment options — also, minimal commissions for sellers and buyers and a machine learning-based recommendations system.

While most of the available gig marketplaces take a fee of up to 20% of their earnings on freelancers, who also face payment delays, Lanceria claims to change the gig economy paradigm by dramatically slashing commissions for both freelancers and service buyers.

Following this, Mihai Sebastian Sararu, CEO of Lanceria, said,

“While more and more people choose freelancing to have more flexibility and freedom, the current platforms eat an unfair share of their revenues and limit their payment options.”

“We’re going to change the power dynamic in the freelancing ecosystem, relieving the financial stress on the gig workers while also equipping their employers with more data-driven tools to optimize their hiring,” Mihai Sebastian Sararu added.

Lanceria to Leverage Crypto for Instant Transactions

Unlike regular gig marketplaces that can take up to 4 weeks to process a payment, the Lanceria team said they leverage crypto for instant transactions. However, while employers pay reduced fees to match with the right professionals, it also allows workers to be paid quickly and commission-free.

Lanceria also highlighted that freelancers don’t pay any fees. However, employers pay reduced fees while benefiting from its AI. “This allows them to save time and money by connecting to qualified professionals with proven track records,” Lanceria noted.

To clarify, the team added that the platform would charge between $1 and $5 for fiat transactions and 2% for crypto for employers. In the press release, they also mentioned that they would speed up the payment process for both options, so fiat rewards will take only up to a week to go through and crypto being processed instantly.

More so, the platform will allow for funds transfer either upon project completion or upon hitting key milestones. This will be done through the use of smart contracts.

Further, the team claims to bolster the user experience for both sellers and buyers with advanced machine learning techniques. Also, with an AI-enabled support system to match businesses and individuals with the best freelancers worldwide. Aside from this, Lanceria noted users would be able to calculate their taxes based on their location thanks to the AI-powered tool.

Additionally, users would also benefit from a mentorship program that Lanceria would soon launch. The program will help established independent contractors to profit from delegating gigs to beginners.

Aside from profiles for freelancers and employers, the business stated that it will have many other features. This includes an API and a React plugin for Web developers. This will let third-party websites set Lanceria-based marketplaces for gig workers.

In addition, the firm said that Lanceria’s native LANC token would power the platform. The token is based on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), which already amassed $1 million in presales. More so, “it is set for a launch in the coming weeks. LANC is slated to launch on June 16th on DigiFinex,” the Lanceria team added.
